If I remember correctly, for some reason, Max saying Ben Cross' character is still with him, in their house, sleeps in their bed registered in my mind. I didn't even understand why it registered - maybe still don't. But after all these years....Max is a special character. He even visits Ben Cross' character in, I think, Switzerland, and asks if he'll be with Debra. When Ben Cross' character asks Max to get off his back, Max asks not even if he knew that Debra was pregnant. Max is a special character. Takes a lot of courage to be Max. I'll never be Max. But, here's some ❤ and 🍀 from me to Max's character.

Remember this from when first shown. Never thought would see it again. having his nazi actor then play his son 😮😮

A lot of Expats and their children living in Port Vila were in this film, myself included. We were paid $45 a day sometimes 6 - 8 hours on set! it was fun and nice to meet the stars. Its the first time I have seen the film in total. Brian Cox was the special effects guy - I wonder where he is now.

A good thought -provoking movie about redemption. The only disappointment occurred near the end, where the son's behavior after the explosion was unbelievably inconsistent and incoherent.

Most of those involved in the plots to kill or remove Hitler were motivated by the worsening military situation - which they blamed on Hitler - rather than any great opposition to his non-military policies.

Love the way guilt is used by Danny , his father paid over and over and over again for his past , and Danny overlooked all the actual good he did , only the past , goes to show the absolute absence of the teachings of Jesus in the Jewish faith , only guilt to the end . A rare film worth watching. An example of the gazal - There is nothing more difficult than life. Blindfolded humanity moves forward. So it thinks only - stumbling into tangles nightmares heart rending suffering. Only panacea to reach up to that Hand which never lets go. Walks you through with understanding & peace. 😊
